Recently, Moonton, the developer of the Mobile Legends game, announced their commitment to helping Indonesian children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In collaboration with the non-profit foundation Save The Children Indonesia, the company held a campaign called Mobile Legends Beyond Gaming #PlayToSaveTheChildren.
Through events titled Beyond Gaming Live Streaming Challenge and Victory Challenge, Moonton managed to collect a total of USD 13,740 or around IDR 202 million.
"This activity is MLBB's commitment to help Indonesian children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic," said Aswin Atonie, Brand Director of Moonton Indonesia, as quoted from his official statement, Monday (9/11/2020).
Aswin hopes that the activities carried out can have a big impact in helping children to face difficulties, especially during this pandemic
"Thank you also to the Mobile Legends competitors for participating and jointly supporting this activity so that it can run well," he added.
The plan is that the donations that have been collected will be donated to representatives of Save The Children Indonesia so that they can be distributed to Indonesian children who are struggling to continue learning in the current situation.

"This donation has tremendous meaning for Indonesian children and can help them realize their dreams," he added.
The Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) Indonesia Season 6 esports tournament officially ended, after previously this match started in mid-October 2020.
Held online due to the Covid-19 pandemic and through a long round of matches, the RRQ Hoshi esports team was born as the first winner of MPL Season 6.
