Amazing effort from Leeds. I guessed already that it would be a tough one. Leeds came to Anfield to try and upset them, they wanna make a stamp in the league so they were always gonna relish the challenge against the mighty champions.
Sometimes the best teams have to grind out results, even against the lower teams cause the lower teams raise there game against the big clubs. United didn't win all their premier league trophies by looking pretty in all their games. 3 points in every game are the target and Chelsea would be a tough one for them.
I know they didn’t play well but a win is a win got 3 points. The only thing matters is a win, got three points, and move on to the next match. I hope to see better defending in the next match.
The Liverpool defense is gonna get wrecked by Chelsea if they carry on like this. Salah was amazing!!!! But the defense needs to wake up especially Trent and Gomez. The attack was good but they tired out as the game went on. Need to get back to full fitness to keep it up for 90 minutes. Firmino needs to up his game he doesn’t deserve to play if he doesn’t contribute as a striker. But onto Chelsea. My thoughts exactly. Salah looked so sharp. With 3 goals already he’s going to be very hungry all season for that next Golden boot.
