Timo Werner is killing it. Great awareness and pace. Havertz seems out of position and he isn't too fit now. But, in general, they are positive! Werner is good and all their attacking game is on him. Havertz seems lazy and he obviously cant play on the wing. Werner has been a constant problem for Brighton defense, Loftus cheek needs to come off and Havertz needs to be moved into cam, Loftus cheek is hindering Havertz’s debut because he has been moved out to the right.
Barkley was very good when he came on, completely changed the tempo of the game. I reckon he saved pulisic for Liverpool hopefully silva can play too and ziyech makes a miraculous recovery. I just hope Kai will play that CAM role. And puli down the wings, if fit, to start.
Havertz hadn't had the greatest performance, he needs to be played at cam behind Werner. But this wasn’t solid. He needs to play 10 and things will be much better I’m sure. Nerves, perhaps the 7 bugged him out. Its always a bad situation for a new player to play in a different position, the good things from him for this match were his movement, positioning, and 1 touch pass. Still wants more from him He should play CAM. He needs time to get used to the pace of the prem it took him by surprise but he can only improve from here on out. Fans should be just happy for the win. Chelsea fans should support him. His talent is obvious, he just needs time. Let the rival fans hate. He will find his form and then he will be class. Just support him and be patient.
Chelsea plays Liverpool next they haven’t been outplayed even though sometimes they lose. Chelsea always gave them a good game last season with their weakest team of all time. This season I strongly believe Chelsea can beat them.
It’s gonna be very tough though. Don’t forget that Liverpool hasn’t been themselves (defense) since the project restart. That’s the only chance of taking advantage of it because once their defense return to their usual, nobody can beat them. I mean Chelsea has to be very very attacking if they want to stand a chance against them.
