However, there is evidence that there were surgeons in ancient Greece and Arabia even earlier.

In ancient Greece, boils were thought to be the first official surgical treatment.

After the Greeks, the Muslims brought about a landmark change in this surgery.

However, due to lack of proper evidence, Maharshi is said to be the first surgeon.
