Ladakh!!

Its like every travellers dream to visit ladakh atleast once in their lifetime.Ever dreamt of travelling to another planet?

Do the next best thing.Head to Ladakh,a land where rugged brown mountains stand in contrast to icy blue lakes.And where adventures are more abundant than oxygen.Nothing will prepare you for the Jaw dropping beauty of Pangong Tso.And the stunning high-altitude deserts of Nubra Valley.

Set amidst the epic Himalayas,Ladakh is a rustic and heavenly beautiful travel destination.The rugged valleys and mountains,winding roads coupled with the vibrant cultural life maintain the exuberance and charm of this region.

I visited Ladakh in June 2019 when there was no Covid and you were free to travel with no restrictions.Many foreigners want to visit India just to witness the beauty of Himalayas,Temples,Monasteries,stupas,river confluences,valleys,museums and a hill that can pull your car uphill.Ladakh boasts of some mind-blowing attractions,and is known for its rugged beauty and Buddhist culture.

We travel to escape our reality,life looks more beautiful when you are away from hassle.We are free bird,we can be anything,we can imagine anything,So lets escape to our real world of imagination.

In this article i would only write about a famous tourist place in Ladakh which is called as Pangong Tso/Pangong Lake.

Because if i write about every beautiful tourists places of Ladakh,it will become too long to read.So talking about "Pangong Lake" Its a beautiful endorheic lake situated in the Himalayas and is 134km long,extending from India to China.Pangong lake is situated at a height of 4350m and is one of the biggest tourists attractions of the country.The beauty and allure of this lake has attracted people from all over the country and beyond.

The one factor that makes this lake so popular is the fact that it keeps changing colors,situated in the Himalayan range its 140km from Leh in Jammu and Kashmir.The name of the lake Pangong was got from a Tibetan word Banggong Co that means narrow and enchanted Lake.And because the lake is long stretch,one third area of lake lies within our country India and the other two third portion lied with Tibet and is controlled by China.

This whole lake freezes during the winter season.Also this region has harsh winters.The fascinating fact about Pangong lake is that it has saline water and even the water freezes and also because of this the lake cannot have any kind of vegetation or even acquatic life.But we are treated by the views of many migratory birds like black necked cranes and seagulls.This place is visited only for its beauty and magnificence.

There were no phone signals at Pangong lake or at nearby area.This was infact a good thing since people get to explore the attraction and make the most of our time in that beautiful place.Something that smart phones may be an obstacle too...
