Woke up with headache again today because of cold weather and got common cold with sore throat, sneezing and coughing. While the weather is not directly resposible for making people sick, the viruses that cause colds may spread more easily in lower temperatures, and exposure to cold and dry air may adversely impact the body's immune system.

As im supposed to stay indoors and contine with my daily chores, the only thing which makes me feel better is being around Nature and spending atleast an hour doing what i like the most.As soon as i woke up,i made myself a cup of ginger tea and sat around my flower garden adoring the flower beauties in bloom.

Being in nature or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress also increases pleasant feelings.Exposure to nature not only makes us feel better emotionally,it contributes to our physical wellbeing, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tensions and the prediction of stress hormones. It also reduces mortality.

Research done in hospitals, offices and schools has found that even a simple plant in room can have a significant impact on stress and anxiety.

In addition, nature helps us cope with pain.Because we are genetically programmed to find trees, plants, water and other nature elements engrossing,we are absorbed by nature scenes and distracted from our pain and discomfort.

Furthermore, time in nature or viewing nature scenes increases our ability to pay attention.Because humans find nature inherently interesting,we can naturally focus on what we are experiencing out in nature. This also provides a respite for our overactive minds, refreshing us for new tasks.

Hope you all are doing good,Better take care of yourselves and stay safe.Covid infections here in our state Maharashtra,India is increasing daily. The only way to stay safe is wear mask and avoid public places as much as possible.Still few people doesnt follow strict protocols and make others fall sick,There are still many fools in our country who still think covid isnt that serious.Even though almost many of us are already suffering from it.

Thank you for reading
