The 15-minute rule on the power of small changes and sub-habits in the individual and social life of human beings; The Japanese people are one of the societies that adhered to the laws for progress, one of the most important and influential of which is the 15-minute law.

What is the 15 minute rule?

The 15-minute rule with the idea of dividing time into 15-minute intervals to perform desired activities with high priority. When we do an activity during this time and every day, its positive effects are clearly manifested in our lives. For example, if you want to get fit, 15 minutes of brisk walking a day is better than two sessions of a club or exercise a week, because by repeating things daily, we get used to them faster and progress faster over time.


To use the 15-minute rule, you have to go through six steps, which are:

 • Inspiration

All our decisions start with inspiration so that we can say that our world is a remix of different ideas.


 • Find your goal 

Finding the right goals and priorities in life may be a little difficult, but by writing down all the goals that come to mind,  a little trial and error, and ranking your goals, you can find the right options for the 15-minute rule.


 • Schedule time allocation 

Surely we can all spend 15 minutes a day doing something. Even if a person is busy all day, he can reduce his sleep time by 15 minutes; This time is so short that during a day it may not even be felt, but in the long run it has tremendous effects. So make time for your 15 minute activities.


 • Space preparation 

Get ready to do your goals, for example, if you want to learn a new language, find the right resources, books, music with translations, etc. to learn a little each day.

 • Start activity 

When everything is ready, start your activity and spend at least 15 minutes every day doing the activity you want.

 • Rewards 

If you stick to your schedule and work out regularly for 15 minutes every day, after a short time you will clearly see its effects, which is a reward for relieving fatigue and creating satisfaction. You can also consider a separate reward for yourself.
