The process by which natural resources are extracted, transformed into raw materials and processed into products suitable for human consumption is called industry. Industrial production vehicles and manufacturing branches of business. In other words, it is the job of the industry to produce various products or services to meet the needs of the people. In the language of economics, production means the creation of salable utilities. In economics it is assumed that man cannot create anything; Nature can only create the ability to accumulate resources and meet its needs or needs. Therefore, the process of collecting resources from nature or using them for sale is called industry. In this case, cotton from land, iron ore from mines, fish from the sea, shrimp catching - are considered as primary products. - Multiple industries used in this case are considered as secondary industries. The main raw material for the cotton we use, including cotton, comes from nature. Wood is coming from the trees and furniture and some things from the wood. Birth of animals. Breeding is happening according to the infallible laws of nature. So new creation is impossible for man without the use of anything given by nature.Man is using his intellect, labor and making the resources given by nature useful in various ways. The process or all efforts to collect and utilize natural resources for the purpose of making profit is therefore called industry.

Industry Features:

The salient features of the artwork effort are discussed below:

1. Manufacturing Branch:

Industry is the productive branch of business. In other words, it is the job of the industry to produce the necessary materials for the buyers or consumers. People from all walks of life use soap. The company that produces soap using raw materials or other materials is the soap manufacturing industry. In other words, in the soap business, the soap industry acts as a vehicle for production.

2. Creation of morphological utility:

In the case of industrial trade, it is mainly used for the purpose of collecting wood from the forest. Furniture is being made from it. Just as the shape of wood has changed with the cutting of wood, so has the form of wood changed with the making of furniture. In this case both are works of art.

3. Focused actions:

The activities of this branch of business production are usually concentrated in a specific place. The sales or marketing work of a pharmaceutical company can be spread across the country and abroad. But its production work can be seen concentrated in a certain place. From here the product is produced and it reaches the buyer or consumer through commercial activities.

4. Related to more capital and risk:

Excluding the cooper industry, it can be seen that all types of industries require more or less capital investment. Although large scale industries are not widely developed in Bangladesh, the government's industrial policy has stated that the capital limit for small, medium and large scale industries is 65 lakh to 15 crore, 15 to 50 crore and 50 crore respectively. The higher the capital investment, the higher the risk.

5. Delay in results:

Building any industry requires a lot of time and preparation. It takes time to procure raw materials, labor, machinery and accessories. Then there is no profit if you produce the product. After taking sales to a certain level, the producer sees the profit. The bigger the industry, the more delayed the results. Although late, the results are long and lasting.

6. Entrance to economic development:

Industry is the gateway to economic development in any country. Although agriculture is an important sector of economic development, it is not possible to take agriculture forward without industrial development. Due to the lack of development of juice making industry in Bangladesh, potential agriculture including mango and pineapple is not coming to fruition. With the expansion of industry, the commercial activities of the country expanded.
