Early language

The early development of children's language is influenced by autism. For example, when three or four year olds play together, when the two of them talk to each other, they do not really communicate. Both children are so preoccupied with their own thoughts that they engage in soliloquy without exchanging information like adults do. Every child is guided by his best listener and his own conversation. Children at this age primarily talk about themselves, about their desires, about family or occupation. Towards the end of childhood they also start talking about others.
