It is said that Bengalis have three hands. Right hand, left hand and excuse. And so to make an excuse, almost all of us introduce more or less Munsiana. It is not wrong for us to make good use of excuses everywhere, from class to home. But behind the excuses we basically hide our own shortcomings, which ultimately stand in the way of our success.
Why do I give excuses?
1. Fear:
The fear of knowing the unknown, the fear of discovering something new, the fear of defeat, etc. create a comfort zone within ourselves. We don’t want to get out of this place easily. So I make all sorts of excuses, "I can't", "I can't" and so on.
2. Fear of uncertainty:
What will happen in the future? What if your aspirations are not realized? What if I fail? We always wrap ourselves up thinking of such things. In the course of life, we avoid the risks and troubles that come our way all the time. Which is why the thing called success seems to us like a golden deer. There is a saying, “No risk, no gain”. Success will come at a time when all risky tasks are pushed away with excuses.
3. Compare with others:
We often compare ourselves to others. When I go to compare, I often think, "I don't have the talent like him, how can I?" I wrap myself up for fear of not being able to. Not to participate in the competition but to make excuses.
4. Self-defense:
Naturally people find safe refuge. We therefore always want to keep ourselves in a safe place. As a result, if you face any problem, you want to protect yourself on various pretexts.
5. Lack of fixed goals:
Setting specific goals is vital to success in life. Without this goal where we want to go, what we want to do, there will be no interest in any work. But many times we make excuses without setting a specific goal that this work will not be given to me, I do not want to do. But I don't know exactly what I want to do. In the midst of indecision we comfort ourselves with excuses and blame our own destiny if we fail.
Why not say the excuse?
1. Develop yourself:
Excuses make people reluctant to try. Gives birth to disbelief in one's own merit. If you want to develop your talent, you must say no to excuses.
2. Starting something new:
Excuses limit life. As a result, there is a kind of fear in starting something new. So if you want to start something new, you must say no to excuses.
3. No regrets:
If you neglect the tasks of time on various occasions, then you have to repent for those tasks later. So work should be done on time without excuse.
4. Challenge yourself:
Challenges must be accepted to achieve success. But many are afraid to accept the challenge because of the excuse.
How can I not tell the excuse?
1. Don't compare:
One of our complaints is to compare ourselves with others and feel inferior. But we don't even think about it, maybe I know less than what I'm comparing; But on another subject I can learn more than that. So discover yourself without making unnecessary excuses by comparing yourself with others and find your best quality.
2. Don't blame others for your mistakes:
You have to accept your mistakes and try to correct them. Blaming others for their own mistakes is just an excuse.
3. Taking on small responsibilities:
Take responsibility for yourself without avoiding any work. This will create interest in working within yourself and increase self-confidence. Then the excuses "I can't", "I can't" will not come to mind.
4. Goal setting:
Set goals and move forward accordingly. Set a goal like finishing all the reading in class today. Now he used to say, - is there a need to give an excuse?
5. Learning from mistakes:
Try to learn from your mistakes. Make sure that mistakes are not repeated on the same pretext.
6. Don't exaggerate your mistakes:
No one is innocent, not perfect. Everyone has some or the other error. So it is not right to think of it as one's own weakness.
7. Finding Your Successes:
A little baby is crying when you see him walking down the street. The baby was very happy when you bought him a balloon. That's the decent thing to do, and it should end there. Find your happiness in the midst of such small successes, see excuses and take a break from your life. As well as calculating small successes, there is joy in it.
8. Improving your skills:
Learn to improve your skills. For example, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc. So don't say "I don't have any skills".
9. Attitude change:
Change the mindset of making excuses in everything. Start a day that will be an excuseless day. Give it a try and you will succeed.
10. No one is above mistakes:
Every human being makes mistakes in one way or another. But it is not right to fall behind on the pretext of that mistake. So let the mistakes be the companion of our success.
Excuses only make us frustrated, disappointed and fail. Let's say goodbye to excuses and make our lives better.
