Phobia’ means ‘unreasonable fear’, meaning unreasonable fear of something. There are countless phobias in the world, but there are some weird phobias - at least one of which can be found in almost all of us! Don't know 10 such phobias.

1. Philophobia (Fear of love!)
Phil means love. For example, in ‘Philosopher’, ‘Phil (love) + Sophy (knowledge)’ means one who loves to practice knowledge, philosopher. Philophobia is afraid of just such love!

I wonder why anyone would be afraid of love? The funny thing is that countless people around the world suffer from philophobia! If you look around you will see many such people. Maybe someone fell in love with someone, but when that love ends in bitterness - the man lost faith in love! Since then, some kind of relationship - where there is a matter of emotion, somehow the fear goes away! If you have to be injured again! And then it is seen that he feels unknowingly.

There is a saying - the people who use the most rude, they actually need a lot more love. Roughness is created from the wound of bleeding in the heart, only love can cover that wound.

2. Glossophobia
A worldwide survey was conducted - What are the things people are most afraid of? Inevitably death was number one. What was number two? Public Speaking! Accidents, earthquakes, fires, etc., have left behind horrible things and have risen to the list of the most feared after death - speaking on stage in front of people!

The word gloss comes from the Greek language, meaning ‘tongue’. From there, the fear of speaking in front of everyone is called glossophobia. Not only does speaking on stage mean being afraid, but feeling uncomfortable speaking in front of strangers also falls into glossophobia.

This fear is present in almost all of us. But if you practice a little and stand up on the stage with courage, you will see that the fear will go away automatically!

3. Claustrophobia
The Latin word ‘claustrum’ or closed place comes from the word claustrophobia. It is believed that in ancient times, people were afraid of wild animals or poisonous snakes living in caves when they were trapped in caves. From there, this fear has entered our subconscious.

The best example of claustrophobia in the current era can be found in the elevator! The elevator in our house is often seen shutting down - and then the heart beats in the throat! It was seen that after the Fajr prayers, all the elders got up in the elevator, the elevator suddenly got stuck on the fourth floor, no button was working - everyone's face was dry, thin lines of sweat appeared on their foreheads! Then suddenly after thirty seconds the elevator started running again and everyone breathed a sigh of relief! This fear of confined spaces is called claustrophobia.

4. Gamophobia (Fear of getting married!)
The Greek word gamos is related to reproduction. There are many words with it like in biology. From there, gamophobia means fear of getting married.

I have heard about the fear of love, the fear of getting married in such a way is surprisingly quite a common fear! This is how our society works - a negative perception of the opposite sex is created from an early age. There are still many boys and girls who feel uncomfortable talking to someone of the opposite sex even after they become adults. If ‘boy’ and ‘girl’ were not seen as ‘human’ but in this way, this problem would not exist. Gamophobia was also much reduced around the world.

5. Katsaridaphobia (fear of cockroaches)
Arachnophobia is a very common word, meaning fear of spiders. In the context of Bangladesh, the fear of cockroaches is more noticeable than spiders! Now there is nothing to be afraid of small cockroaches, they are quite innocent! If you give a beating with sandals, the poor people become cold. But when the big ugly Arshola flies through the window with the sound of Farfar - then many heroes also get scared!

(I had a lot of catsaridaphobia. Watching the cartoon Oggy and the Cockroaches reduced this fear a lot! Seeing cockroaches reminds me of the cartoon's long, thick, short. Judging by the size of the cockroach, I judge whether it is long or thick or short! Then I get a smile instead of fear.) !)

6. Telephonophobia (Fear of talking on the phone)
Not just on the telephone, messenger, viber - telephonophobia is the feeling of being uncomfortable talking. If you look for your friends, you will find someone! Huge objection to talking on my own phone (much less now though)! I can write a cow composition in the message, but it feels like talking on the phone!

This fear needs to be overcome. Because on the way to life you have to learn to talk to a lot of people nicely - whether face to face, or on the phone. So practice speaking nicely, telephonophobia will no longer exist!

7.Monophobia
It has many more names - Autophobia, Isolophobia, Eremophobia etc. All in all, it gives the same meaning - the fear of being alone in life.

The way old age homes are growing these days - this fear is not uncommon to come to mind.

There is a word in Japan called ‘Hikikomori’ - there are millions of people in that country who spend months alone, never leaving home. It can be seen that all the family members are at home

Monophobia is a very destructive thing, and sadly, it will only get worse in the future.

8.Allodoxaphobia (fear of criticism)
In Greek, ‘Allos’ (others), ‘Doxa’ (opinions, criticisms) have been equated with alodoxaphobia. This fear is present in almost everyone. The world’s richest man Jeff Bezos has a nice quote, ‘If you’re afraid of criticism, you can’t do anything! Because no matter how good you do a job, someone will criticize you! '

That is very true! One should love without fear of criticism or the opinion of others. Because they are catching your mistake for free! Everyone's attitude should be like 'I am better than everyone else'.

9. (fear of change)
We all have a Comfort Zone, we're too scared to get out of there! The man who has been listening all his life is shy, it is a very difficult task for him to go in front of everyone and say two things with confidence! Our brain can't stand any pain, it always wants to keep us at bay. So whenever a matter of change comes to the fore - our brains get scared, find out a hundred and one reasons why there is no point in doing this!

But the truth is - life is never possible without change. Metathesiophobia has nothing to do with it. Take away your fears, gnash your teeth at the act of dislike. Mahathir Muhammad, the epitome of change in Malaysia, was very afraid of dogs as a child. He could have avoided the dog, but then the fear would have lasted a lifetime. He wanted a change - he stood in front of the dog. Knee trembling, wet pants! But he just faced the fear, and won! Don't be afraid of change, embrace it with love.

10. Atychiphobia (fear of failure)
Eticophobia- A small word, but what a horrible consequence! All fears are insignificant to the damage caused by this one fear. Sadly, this fear is also very strong among many of us. We don't want to try anything new, we give up easily because we are afraid of losing! ‘Don’t stay dad, it’s not for me. Does everything happen to everyone or not? 'This ataciphobia appears in various excuses, stopping us from moving forward. I would say- there is a lot to learn from children. The baby who is crawling now, when he tries to get up, falls repeatedly. Not once but the child does not think ‘Thak will not walk with me! I’ll spend the rest of my life crawling! ’He tries his best without fear of failure and really learns to stand up, even after a few days he starts running! We big people hold ourselves back from many things for fear of failure - we defeat ourselves.
