In Germany everybody must have a civil ceremony , and a lot of couples choose to have a church wedding as well .After the civil wedding they mostly have a small party with family and friends. People bring old porcelain like - plates, cups and things like that. They throw them on the ground in front of the bride and groom. Everything break and people laugh and make a lot of noise. The newlyweds have to sweep up the broken pieces together, but this symbolizes that nothing would get broken in their new house again while they lived together, and is meant to bring good luck.

In Colombia there is celebrated a candle ceremony. That is a traditional custom. After giving rings to each other the bride and the groom have to light a candle each. The bride lights the candle using her right hand and the groom uses left which represents bride and groom. They then use those candles to light a third candle in the middle,and then they blow out the first two candles. So there is one candle alight and that symbolizes that they are now the same body and are going to share their lives together.

In Turkey the bride and groom aren't allowed to meet each other before marriage for some days. During the wedding the friends of the bride write their names in her shoes. And when the bride wears the shoes if one of the names is erased then that means that person is going to get married next.

In Maasai the bride wears the most colourful beaded necklace during her wedding day. As per tradition bride's necklace has to be made by her mother and presented by her father. It is very elaborate and goes down to the knees.

In China red is the most important colour for wedding ceremonies . For them it symbolizes love, joy and prosperity. Although lot of brides wear white these days but traditionally it is supposed to be red.the bride and groom give each other handkerchiefs and wish each other good luck. The handkerchiefs each contain a picture of mandarin ducks because they symbolize faithfulness and ducks always stay together.

In Bangladesh there are many different types of rituals and traditions of a wedding. Different parts of the country celebrates differently. As there are muslims, Hindus, Christian's and tribes they all do it differently but everyone enjoy the ceremonies.
