Improvement of Online Mode of Studies

Until pandemic of Corona virus most of people in countries like Pakistan and India were not familiar with the online mode of studies. During the pendemic of Corona virus studies of students were really effected. Because most of the people were not familiar with the way how online classes should be taken. This caused a lot of issues and studies of students were really disturbed.

There were a number of problems in the online mode which included unavailability of internet in the remote areas, weak internet connection, Limited number of gadgets in one in one family ,communication problem of students of students with their teachers. Also the students were not able to co-ordinate with the class because there were many students who were the new users of the gadgets or the apps that run the online classes. Due to all these reasons the students were unable to get proper knowledge. Today in my article I will discuss that how the online mode of stydying and teaching should be improved. The mentioned issues of online classes that I have discussed in this article are seen in the online mode of teaching in my society. If you have time kindly give read to this article.

First of all it is very necessary that if an institution wants to conduct online classes then it must ensure that all the students should have internet connection and gadgets at home so that they can easily take online classes without any disturbance.

If it is very mandatory for the institute to conduct online classes and have no time to go for the physical classes then the institution should provide a facility of Gadgets and internet connection at school or college or university so that those students who are not able to take online classes from home should come to the particular institution and take their classes without any disturbance.

The teacher should sit in such area where there is complete silence and she must ask all of the students to select such place for the online class where there is complete silence so that the students can carefully listen to the teacher and participate in the class activities.

The next problem is when a lot of students are in an online class then they are unable to co-ordinate with each other easily and do not actively participate in class activities so in order to solve this issue the institution must ensure to divide a class into several sections so that each and every child get equal and proper knowledge. By doing so each and every student will able to understand things clearly and will able to co-ordinate with the teacher and ask questions whenever he or she get stuck.

The next issue is most of the students are unaware of how they should they should join the online class so the institution must ensure that before conducting the online class they should provide a tutorial to make the student understand how all this will work.

The faculty and the teacher who is teaching should tell class before starting that each and every student should keep their mike mute unless and until there is a question or simply they should ask the student to raise their hand as this is the main option which is available in most of the online class conducting apps such as zoom meeting. This will reduce the disturbance in the class. The teacher should set a time in the class schedule for the questioning of the students and should ask the students in that time problem faced by the students during the class.

Also the teacher should be punctual and should prepare him or herself for the upcoming class and should schedule the whole class properly to avoid any inconvenience.

And one of the most important point is this that the time interval for an online class should be shorter than physical class because in online class the students are continuously learning without any break so the teacher must ensure that the time interval should be shorter and also if it is not possible to keep the class timing short then the teacher must provide a break of 15 to 20 minutes to the students so that the students can return with vitality.

Last but not the least the teacher should ask student at the end of every class to give feedback that what are the points that the teacher should improve .
