Imagine a treasure chest full of gold and diamonds and locked with a combination lock. You need to find the right combination of numbers, things you need to do, to get the treasure inside. It was just like then striving for success.
Life is full of treasure chests that we call opportunities to succeed in life. You need to choose the right box and then try to find the code needed to achieve the treasure. In striving to advance and succeed in life, here are ten things you should keep in mind in order to achieve your dreams.
1. Goals or Goals / Dreams
First of all, you need a goal or dream that you want to achieve. If you do not have a specific purpose, you will be like a ship lost at sea, just following the waves until you sink.
If you have no dreams, you are likely to be like most who work just to eat and live. Like drowning people, they waste energy just to float, unaware that when they focus their energy in one direction, they will reach a very close beach containing a treasure or treasure chest.
2. Wisdom
If you want to build a mansion on your own, you need to learn how to design a house, mix concrete, lay hollowblocks, carve carpets, ironwork, and much more. If you do not want to study all of that, pay a construction company to build a mansion for you. Your only problem is, you need to know how to make a lot of money to pay for them. If you do not know how to do them, it is unlikely that you can build a strong and stable house. You can apply this principle to other things. To achieve your dream, you need to KNOW or STUDY what you need to do to work for them.
3. Confidence
Orison Swett Marden said the general who thinks defeat will be defeated. His anticipation of defeat will be felt by his army, discourage it from the very beginning, and it becomes impossible for the personnel to do all they can. If you think you can not win, you will not practice todo and you will not play seriously. If you do not give your full strength, you will probably always be beaten by other people who give their best because they think they can win. They will always succeed as long as you stay in the lowest rank where in your mind you deserve to stay.
4. Action
You can learn how to solve equations, you can learn different engineering principles, and you can learn business, but if you do not try to use what you know, then all is not worth it. you learned.
Remember what Jack Canfield taught: You are not paid by the world because of your knowledge, you are profitable from your work. The person who makes and sells the seat ordinance is profitable. The person who learns to make the “best seat in the world” but does nothing does not.
5. Perseverance
Do you still remember the first times you tried to cook? You may have burned the food, or it may have been raw, or you may have added too much salt, or you may not have had enough seasoning. What about your first attempts at riding a bicycle or skateboard? You probably broke or fell but you still did not stop.
We cannot avoid failure. We will be broken, weary, and faint. We cannot avoid that. However, when there is something we should do, it is okay if we are not good at it in the beginning. We just have to keep going until we get better, and keep going until we become experts at it. When you know your destination is right, you are likely to reach your dream goal. You just have to keep walking and do not give up.
6. Create Value or Do Good
Why do other people get rich and prosper? There are many reasons for this and this one is there. Take a look at all the equipment you have and the services you use. Your computer, the software you use to open it, and much more. How much do you think people who make it earn because they create good products that people like us use?
You pay for the bus because you have to get to a place quickly. You buy tickets to the cinema because you have fun at shows. You pay the doctor or pharmacist because you want to be cured of the disease. What are you doing in your office? You probably get paid for the work you do for the company. You do or create things that others want or need and they will reward you with money or goodness. You will need them to achieve your goals and dreams.
7. Think of the Future
Do you know the difference between setting goals and doing something productive, and making good use of time and money (saving and investing)? They are often done so that we can get good things or results IN THE FUTURE.
8. Good Money Handling
What happens to you when you waste all your money on worthless things, such as gambling and casino losses or getting into debt? You will beg and you will lose your home. Even if someone is still advancing despite the bad situation, it is more difficult to advance and succeed when you sleep on the street and you die in dysentery compared to when you have a good income and you have a few million in the bank who are willing to use it for good business or investment.
You need to learn how to handle money well. This is a very important thing that you will need to use to achieve success.
9. Discontentment or Current Situation
That being said, it is crazy to repeat something and expect another result to happen. Are you repetitive in the work or “effort” you do and do you hope you will suddenly “succeed”? If you repeat your work over and over again while you are not improving it, that is all the money you will earn. There is nothing wrong with being content, but you have to remember that when things do not grow or progress, they gradually die. It says, "If you don't keep getting better, you'll stop being good." If you stop improving yourself, you will not be good at your job.
Do not be content with what you have now. Work hard and dream higher than this.
10. Integrity
The road to success is long and arduous, and it often takes decades of endless effort. As a result, too many people seek shortcuts by lying, cheating, or stealing things that others try to do. That is one reason why many are imprisoned… or die. Don't do that. Work hard, do good, and help others as you strive toward your dream. The long and difficult journey to success is better than the quick path to disaster.
While this list contains some of the most important advice, it is not yet complete. There is so much more to learn, and so much more is just for you and your current situation. You will probably need to explore them on your own, or you will need the help of teachers who will guide you and your efforts. If you have already learned something, just tell it in the comments section below! You can probably help others who are just getting started!
