Ways to Be a Good son to your parent:

An ordinary Filipino child is often viewed as a helper by his parents. In our modern times most children are shaped by technology. Children who just stare in front of a computer or cellphone, even without helping with household chores. Sometimes our parents have a hard time with all the tasks so let's help our mom and dad. Here are the ways to be a good child to his parents:

• Help - As children, our parents expect us to do what they tell us to do. Not because they are lazy, but because they need help. Many of us are parents who are old. Often they can no longer do all the work so to be a good child we need to help them.

• Helpful - We young people, we often say "You are too strict with me" with our parents, or we just whisper to ourselves. They, as parents, just want what you deserve. They know what is best for you because they have passed our age. They also became young to know what would be bad or good for us.

• Love- We will probably love our parents. You know, the best gift for your parents is to love them? Many children today say that they do not love their parents because they are too strict, always servants or hurt. For whatever reason, you should never miss a reason to love your parent. They are the ones who give you life, feed you, give you shelter, and give you love. For all the sacrifices they made, even simple love was enough to pay them back.

• Study hard - Many of you will probably say, what does education have to do with being a good child? Learning is a very important thing that they can give you. Not to torture you but to give you a future. A future where because of your graduation you have more opportunities to have a job and have a good future. More than that, they also hope that when you become successful and have a good future you will also help them to live a dignified life. They will know that all their suffering was worth it.

• Take care - How do we take care of them? Our parents, they are also human. Surprising isn't it? They sometimes struggle, and get sick. As a child, we also have a responsibility to care for them. Whenever they are sick, you first clean, cook, cook and much more. Even a simple kiss on the forehead is a great help to your mom and dad to lighten their mood. Let us return to love. Simply showing your love for them is an effective medicine for all their suffering.
