Spring fatigue and how to overcome it

Even though the winters are milder today than they were a hundred years ago, the leap from cold weather to sunny spring days still marks us. Because our body has to get used to warmer weather, we feel this change as a kind of exhaustion. Inadvertently, we find ourselves in a state of low energy in the first months of spring.

How to overcome fatigue?

Since spring fatigue is not a disease, it is not surprising that there is no specific cure for it. However, by following some of the following tips, you can improve the situation a bit.

1.Eating habits

Try to avoid (too) sweet and overly spicy foods, which further cause a feeling of nausea and lack of energy. Enjoy a third more fruits and vegetables than usual.

2.Be more athletically active

4.Cold showers

Cold showers are very invigorating. Gradually start to give up the habit of showering with hot water from the winter months. Not only is a hot shower harmful to the skin - a cold shower will instantly wake you up and eliminate drowsiness and improve the functioning of your blood circulation.

5.Other activities you can try to overcome fatigue are: sauna, massage, use of essential oils, preparation of a fragrant bath at the end of the day, etc.
