We hear different things about the position and rights of women in the society. Much of what is being said today about women's rights is plausible. Again, there is room for disagreement with some words. It is essential that the rights of all men and women be established. Because society is moving forward day by day. The rights of all people, not just women or men, must be established. Society has come a long way in the last 50 years. At this time, even though women are not on par with men, they have come forward. We have left the society that existed at the time of Begum Rokeya far behind. He saw that at that time girls did not get any opportunity to study. If Begum Rokeya had not taken bold initiative in the field of women's education then, none of the women of this subcontinent could have learned to read today. All over the world, especially in our country, the oppression of people, especially women, has a foundation, a foundation. Persecution is not coming from the sky. The ideological foundation of the oppression of women by men and in some cases by women is that people in general, men in particular, believe that women are inferior to men, that their quality is poor and that they are inferior. Of course, this belief also exists in women. This belief is born out of some of the confusions that exist among human beings. And this belief is based on the neglect, deprivation and oppression of women. If we have to stop the oppression of women from our country, it cannot be done without Islam. I want to make it very clear that it will not be possible for 90 percent of the Muslim population like us to leave the country without Islam. Those who have rebelled against Islam have not been able to survive. The consequences for those who rebelled were not good, they were bad. I would like to humbly say that if we can move forward within the framework of Islam, it will be the best. I firmly believe that Islam has such a framework that can advance women. I am not in favor of giving any temporary explanation of Islam. In a real sense, Islam has empowered and honored women. Gave women rights. Before explaining them, I would like to say in the context of what could be the new foundation of the ‘Ideological Foundation’. What is the basis on which the basic equality of men and women exists? God did not make man look the same. No two people are equal in all respects. Weight, height, color, education, etc. differ from one person to another. But basically every human being is equal; Equal to God. Here are five proofs: First of all, Allah Ta'ala has made it very clear that the original human being is the 'soul' which we call the soul. The original man but not the body. The body will rot in the grave. Those of us who believe in Islam know that the real human being is the 'soul'. God created all human beings, his soul together, in the same way and asks the same question. All men and women gave the same answer to God's question. One of the verses in Surah A'raf of the Qur'an is: “Remember, your Lord brings forth their offspring from the surface of the children of Adam and confesses about themselves and says,‘ Am I not your Lord? They say, ‘Yes, of course you are our Lord. We are witnessing that. " That is because you should not say on the Day of Resurrection, "We did not know." (Surat al-A'raf: 6: 162)
That means one point with God is a covenant for all men and women - ‘You are our Lord, we will obey you. In this case, the men's contract was not different. The women's contract was no different. So we see, the first thing about our ideological foundation is that the original man is the ‘soul’ and he is equal to all. If there is any inequality after this equality, it is very negligible. This means that the spiritual personality of man is one and the same as man. This is the first foundation of gender equality. Second, we men are proud, our physical constitution seems to be better than women. God seems to have made us comparatively superior and the girls are unqualified. But Allah Ta'ala has made it clear in the Qur'an that there is a difference between all people, but every person is 'first class'. Those who pray know this verse. In Surah At-Tin, Allah says: "Verily, I have created man in the best of molds." He didn’t say ‘men here’. That means we have differences in structure, we are not one, we have different structures. But everyone is first class or best. So it is the second basis for establishing the basic equality of men and women, for the new women's movement or for the new human movement. Basically for this reason, there is a small difference between men and women. It would not be right for men to say that the structure of girls is bad. God will be displeased with that. Those who are believers, those who are believers, they will not say this. So this is the second proof of the basic equality of men and women. Third, God clearly states that all people belong to the same family; Of the family of Adam and Eve. In the first verse of Surah An-Nisa ', Allah says: "O mankind, believe in the Lord who created you from a single essence (nafs) and from that essence they created companions, and from these two He created innumerable men and women." (Surat an-Nisa ': 4) 1) That means we are one family. We are the children of Adam or the children of Adam. Allah has said at least 20-30 times in the Qur'an, 'O children of Adam' (O children of Adam). In the eyes of Islam, mankind is a family, just as a family is made up of parents and children. Above all families is the family of mankind. This means that our basic respect and dignity is equal. There is a difference between us for small reasons. But worldly dignity is not real dignity. As it is said in the language of law, all people are equal in the eyes of law, so everyone is equal in the sight of Allah. Taqwa is the only basis of honor in the sight of Allah. Allah did not say that men are honored or women are honored by Him. Allah says- The most honorable of you in the sight of Allah is the most pious of you. Verily, All জানেনh is All-Knowing, All-Aware. '(Surat al-Hujurat: 49:13) If this is the basis of dignity in the sight of Allah, then what is the difference between human beings? Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): Therefore, we are children of one family, equal to our basic dignity. In the last part of a verse of Surah An-Nisa 'of the Qur'an, Allah says: "And fear Allah, by Whom ye claim one another's rights, and fear the womb or the mother." (Surah An-Nisa: 4: 1) God says, "Fear the womb." In his commentary on this verse of the Qur'an, the famous Egyptian scholar Sayyid Qutb wrote, "This language has not been written before the Qur'an in any literature of the world." Allah says to respect the mother to fear the womb, to respect the female race '(Tafsir of Surah Nisa, Sayyid Qutb). So our basic, social status seems to be the same in this case. This is the third proof of our new ideological foundation. Fourth, Allah Ta'ala said at the time of creation of man, ‘You are all caliphs. He said, ‘Inni Zaylun Phil Ardi Khalifa.’ Allah did not say that he was sending women or men to the earth. Sent people, said the caliph. He called the people caliphs. Khalifa means representative. We, the whole human race, are the represe.
All the empowerment that we are talking about is within the dignity of this caliph. No one can fulfill any responsibility without power. Every woman and man must have some power in order to fulfill the responsibilities of the caliphate. The basis of women's empowerment lies in this caliphate. Not only women, the word caliphate has the basis of empowerment of men and women, the weak and the weak. So this is the fourth proof of the basic equality of men and women. Islam wants to give power to everyone. But if women are deprived at the moment, they need to be empowered. Men need to be empowered if they are deprived one day. But we have to think about the deprived first. We have to work first for the empowerment of women. Fifth, today we are talking about the real work of girls. The question is whether they will stay at home. If a girl wants to stay home at her own discretion, she has the right to do so. The same is true of men. But Allah has not said anywhere that women should stay at home, women cannot do outside work, but Allah has given the same main responsibility to men and women. In verse 61 of Surah At-Tawbah, Allah says: There are six responsibilities for men and women: 1. They will order good deeds. 2. Prohibit evil deeds. 3. Both will establish prayers. 4. Will pay zakat. 5. Obey God. . Who will obey the Prophet? Through these words, Allah is recognizing the participation of women in all good deeds. This is the principle of Islam. In this regard, Allah has decided that Allah Ta'ala will shower mercy on those who perform these six duties. After reading several commentaries on the Qur'an and believing in the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, I believe that men and women are equal in these six responsibilities. Politics, social service, etc. all fall under these six. The verse also says: "Believing men and believing women are guardians of each other, friends of each other, and helpers of one another." The verses that precede the subject must be explained in the light of this verse. In this verse it is said that men and women are guardians of each other. Many say women cannot be guardians; But God says women can be guardians. The Qur'an makes no difference in this regard. Today we have abandoned the basics of Islam and become preoccupied with small things. I am relying on different man-made books. We do not seem to care more about God's original book than that. One thing needs to be said here - if one learns Islam through others, they will never be liberated. So everyone has to read five or six commentaries of the Qur'an by himself. Many insert their own words into the translation. As a result, if we read five or six tafsirs, we will understand where the word of man has entered, and what is the word of Allah? If we read a few explanations, we will be able to decide which explanation is correct. There was no big commentator among the girls. If the girl was a commentator, maybe there would be no gender bias. However, there are some commentaries on the Qur'an that are gender biased, such as Muhammad Asad's The Message of the Qur'an.
