My best way to get ideas in writing

I know it isn't easy at all to write or get ideas on what to write. What works best for you cannot be the same for me, that is the fact. Being a writer is not something so easy at all, in fact it is difficult is an understatement but this only fits those who do not have interest or passion for writing. To become a writer takes full concentration because without concentrating on your ideas, you would only be dropping down Jargons into your book. To bring something meaningful, it requires;

• Getting a topic

• Making research on the topic

• Write your article

• Proofread or Edit your articles

• Then publish it out for the audience.

There are different online platforms to unleash your writing skills which are fiverr.com, AdSense, Hive, Readcash, Cracked.com, Link-Able.com and so on. Just like other platforms, Readcash has given us an opportunity to become a writer by bringing out that skill in us and putting our efforts into use and getting rewarded at the end.

I never knew I have this gift in me until my younger sister made me realized I had such skill waiting to be revealed out. She introduced a platform called steemit to me and for the start, I thought it was a tough step to take but along the line, I started this journey of writing. My aim of writing then was to earn, and so, I wasn't concentrating on building myself but only for the money attached to it. After a while, I stopped writing until after 3 years when I joined another platform called Uptrennd. It was at this point I knew I was wasting my skill then, and I never valued it. After being brushed up by a wonderful woman on the platform called Tiger Lily who brought about Uptrennd University where many of us were tutored and helped in writing and learning other things like editing, video making and so on, I became a blogger and earned this certificate.

Thanks to Uptrennd University. I am sorry diverting but I just want us to understand how my writing started and what works best for me in getting ideas.

Many people have their different way of getting ideas on writing and some of them are;

• Listening to music

• Observing natures

• Washing

• Sweeping

• Gisting around friends etc

It took me a long while to notice mine and it has always worked best for me and it is taking a shower.

Studies have shown that taking a shower or bath can relieve you of stress or whatsoever you are passing through. Even after a long day at work, you can decide to take a shower to calm yourself down. This is my own best way. When I do not know or have anything to write on and I needed to write something, I quickly take a shower to relieve myself. Sometimes, it is during my shower in the bathroom that I get ideas on what to write on and before I know it, different things starts coming into my head and it will be like cars on traffic and were given a pass to move. It works just like magic to me.

When I was still a student at Uptrennd University and we were given an assignment to write on and should be submitted within the stipulated time. I was in my room trying to gather ideas on my assignment and I couldn't. It got to a point, I was confused and I decided to quit. I tried my best to find some facts and how to bring them together, but nothing was coming. I gave up and my mind was like "take a shower". It was in the bathroom I was mumbling some words in my mind and immediately, I got out and went to jot some things down until I got everything I needed to write on. That was how I got back on my assignment and successfully finished it.

You need to understand what works best for you before taking your pen to write. There are other ways to get ideas to bring out something and be a good writer you had wanted to be.
