Involving in Airdrops.

What do we mean by Airdrop? Firstly, this is going to be a post for the sake of those who do not yet understand what Airdrop means and how to go about it. It means a distribution of new tokens or coins and it is always free and would be distributed to different wallet addresses being provided upon being part of it. Its main purpose is to gain followers and users to the project and most times, it is a lucky something and if you are lucky, then you are on your way to receiving the said token or coins. If you do not understand what Cryptocurrency is, then it would be difficult to understand how to partake in any Airdrop because you do not have the knowledge on how to go about it. Airdrops requires different addresses either from Erc20, Bep20, Solana etc.

When I was starting my journey into Cryptocurrency, I know nothing about Airdrop and according to people, it has made many to be millionaire and even trillionaire only if you have the strength to do them. Airdrops comes in different ways and there are some requirements from you. To engage in Airdrops, you need ;

1. A TWITTER ACCOUNT: This is where mostly all Airdrops task are done. When performing any Airdrop task, you would be told to follow some people on Twitter, Like their tweet, Retweets and most times tag friends to make them aware of such an Airdrop. Without doing this task, you aren't qualified for receiving any coins. So, you need a Twitter account for this, it's very important.

2. A TELEGRAM ACCOUNT: This is also an app just like WhatsApp where all contacts on your phone are shown provided they install the app on their phones. This is also required to participate in an Airdrop. You will be told to follow some channels and submit your username as a proof you have joined those channels. You also need to have this app installed on your phone and register an account using your number.

3. A DISCORD ACCOUNT: Not all Airdrops requires this, but few ask of it. You also need to download this app and register an account. During your participation, you will be asked to follow an account which will require you staying in there for more information on any Airdrop you are doing.

4. A MEDIUM ACCOUNT: A medium account is just like a blogging site where you write posts and submit. Some Airdrops also make use of it and you are told to submit your username after which you have followed their channel. You need to create an account on this site.

These are mostly the accounts required for Airdrops and without providing all of these, then you are not eligible to participate in this.

WAYS THROUGH AIRDROP ARE DONE?

There are two ways you can do an Airdrop. The first one can be done on Telegram where you do all tasks with some accounts provided to follow. Another is through Google forms. You will be asked to do all tasks too and submit online. This will be recorded till when such a token would be distributed. Some Airdrops are distributed immediately while some may take long probably two to three months or more than that.

Another major thing is that, these Airdrops needs patience. If you aren't patient enough, you can't do something like this. Most token or coins are new and they need time to be in the market and for the price to go high before you can sell. So patience is needed for such a thing. There are different WhatsApp or telegram groups to join for update on different kinds of Airdrops.

Also, you need to know that not all Airdrops are real, some are fake and how do you recognize them? You just need to keep doing all, and if some are given to you, then it is real and by luck too while the fake ones are what we call scam. They just need followers for their accounts and once such is met, they closed down immediately.

Some Airdrops requires you connecting wallet to claim them. Always be careful with how you connect your wallet to an unknown site as it has been recorded how many people wallets have been cleared off, taking all their monies in the wallets. This is why it is advisable to always use a different wallet for such an Airdrop so you don't end up losing your coins or tokens all because of an Airdrop you don't know anything about.

One of the benefits of Airdrops is to know some new tokens and be knowledgeable about Cryptocurrency and how it works. Remember to always DYOR (Do your own research) on any Airdrop and be careful on all Airdrops and do not make the mistake of releasing your seed phrase to any Airdrop requesting you to provide. You are giving them an access into your wallet and before you know it, your coins are gone.
