Today is another great day to ponder and to give thanks to the Lord for the whole week that we still alive and still honor Him for his greatness and Goodness throughout the week.
Sunday!
When you heard the word Sunday what comes to your mind? What comes to your mind when we say life? What is your priorities in life?
May of us are too busy working throughout the week, even Sunday they work so hard to cope with the demand of the busy world and to cope with the needs of the family. Among of us are too busy, looking for some resources to meet the needs of the family.
We use it to look another source of income just to feed our stomach and satisfy our flesh with food.
But have you ever felt, whether how much your stomach has been satisfied with food, yet still there are some missing point that you felt so much emptiness that we don't know and we don't understand where this emptiness came from?
So I ask my self, why am I here on this earth? What's really the purpose why we live and why we exists? We are so uncertain the real purpose of our existence on this earth.
On a Bible study, my when being was likely splashed with an ice cold water. I was ashamed of myself, I was really felt like so ungrateful of this life.
A big question slap my face so hard that I couldn't even look into the eyes of the Pastor who asked us about it.
Why we live on this earth, what is your purpose?
Live by Faith
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
We have to believe that God exists. He is the creator of all, we are created to praise him and honor Him. We may not see him but in our hearts he live. We have to trust God in all our ways, he will never leave us, if we trust Him for whatever we do, he will feed us not just with food but with the food to our soul.
If we believe in Him we will be satisfied, he will make our path straight. Our main reasons why we live on this earth is because we live to glorify His mighty name. If we trust Him, we will live forever and have an eternal life.
Our life on this earth is just temporary, those hard work we live on material things, success, professions, positions in life were useless if we die. Our hardwork to satisfy our flesh is just temporary.
We should look for an eternal satisfaction by believing God exist and let us feed our souls with the word of God. When we live by Faith in Him our souls will be satisfied.
Live with His Grace
Our life is a gift from God, we live by His grace and mercy. We live on this earth because of His love, we are created by his image and resemblance. He saved us from the calvary, our sins has been paid. He was crucified to pay for our sins because he loved us His children. We should get grateful to God, we should honor Him in all times and accept him as our saviour.
Closing thoughts
In all times God has been there to guide and love us in every way. We should not worry about tomorrow because God will just provide us our needs.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Let's always be reminded that God will never leave us nor forsake us. If we need him just ask and pray.
Matthew 21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer,believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
