One planet: one world

Planet earth is the only planet where there is an existence of life from the smallest organisms to the biggest existence of life. Our ecosystem is a system where living organisms depends each other. Every living organisms has been ecologically well-balanced.

Our existence varies in the ecosystem, we adapt with our surroundings as to living organisms depends on each other's existence. Like animals, human beings depends on its prey and live on its natural habitat.

But the question is, do we really feel any sense of responsibility on the natural habitat that we live on? How about the natural habitat of every smallest to biggest living organisms that we depends on? Are we still ecologically well balanced? Is our planet still living or slowly dying?

It is said that human being is the highest form of animals in the ecosystem. We are the smartest of the living organisms on earth. But what would be our role on this planet that we live on? As far as I know, we are created by God just to care and be the watch of His creations.

We are provided by God with abundance of the world and natural resources that should be enough for us to live. He provides us the food we eat everyday, in fact, we can found everything we need from the nature. There is nothing could we ask for because all we need to live are already provided by God.

But the problem is, human are greed. Greed eat our system, destroys our world, it causes destruction and leads to an imbalanced ecosystem. Our greed slowly kills our planet, and to that we are the ones who slowly kills our own.

Invention of machine

Human created machine to make work much easier. We are also much overwhelmed of these things that could also lead us to destruction where life has been wasted easily because of radiations and made ourselves stop to move from working. We really rely on these machines without thinking about the disadvantages cause by these machines.

Instant food

We are happier to think that we can eat easily through these fast food and instant food we eat. We invented poison on the food we eat, we are likely to be a fan of food that last long for a month or years because of preservatives and we are happy to know it without even thinking the bad effects on our body.

Construction of Buildings

Human constructing tall buildings, cutting big trees and replacing it with so many buildings. Nowadays, human are really happy and we can see the wild developments of the world. Buildings small and big are everywhere, we can feel the development and the rapid growth of economy. Human are overwhelmed by these rapid development we experienced today without even thinking the impact of these development to our mother earth.

We are most careful about the growth of our economy rather that saving our mother earth from dying. Human are so greed of power and money that could lead to our end.

Closing Thoughts

Let us try to reflect, what would be the greatest thing on earth that we care the most? Let us look at the earth, all over the world we are suffering from the global warming. The thinning of the ozone layer and denuding of the rainforests has a greater impact to us. We are experiencing unexplainable phenomena and different disastrous calamities nowadays because of our wrongdoing.

We are the one, humans who slowly kills ourselves. We are likely not an animal, instead we are beasts to our own existence. Let us ask ourselves, what would be the greatest precious thing on earth that we should care about? Do we really need to destroy our earth just to achieve and make another earth of steel to satisfy our greed?

We invented different machineries and weapons on our own death. Because of human's greediness, Mother Earth put at risks. All living organisms, animals, insects and ordinary people has been stolen with authority to live.

I only hope that the next generations would inhale same oxygen we breathe today. That the next generations would not reach to the point that the air they breathe would be for sale. I am so worried about them, because nowadays blue sea slowly turns into brown. Rivers becomes drought and even the flow of the water ends and becomes stagnant because of hydropower consumption.

I hope it will not come to the point that the next generations suffers too much. We cause their near death and we even steal them their privilege to live long.

I cry for Mother Earth. I cry for the next generations to come. I cry for every living organisms for ruining their natural habitat. I cry for us!
