Let's Make a Difference

Nature is a blessing from our Lord. This is where everything we live for comes from. It was beautiful and rewarding. From food, shelter, medicine and much more. This is also where our knowledge comes from that out of curiosity about God's mysterious creation, we test the limits of our knowledge.

Over time, we have noticed that many changes are happening in our environment or so is in nature. We are already experiencing intense summers, rains it is coming to destruction of property, loss of many lives and destruction of livelihoods. Nature has an associated adverse effect on our lifestyle and circumstances.

Here in our country, our biodiversity is very high. We have many hotspots that we can take advantage of to grow and expand tourism in our country. We are also rich in natural resources. Some of them we do not yet know how to use and some we have not yet figured out.

Our lack of knowledge on the importance of nature, its abusive use and undisciplined and limited construction of infrastructures, wrong way of waste disposal, wrong way of fishing have been the reasons why unexpected disasters occur. Almost every year we experience severe floods, landslides, phenomena and climate change. We the people and everyone living in this world are affected by these disasters and unfortunate changes.

At the present time it is alarming what is happening in our nature today because of our negligence. Because what was beautiful then is the opposite in our time because we do not take care of it properly. If only it had been treated correctly, we would not have experienced the floods and crises that we face today. I wish there were no broken roads, broken nature and broken livelihoods we are experiencing today! Hopefully while there is still time and it is not too late we will all learn to take care of it. Hopefully this problem will be resolved sooner.

It is only right to take care of our natural resources because this is where we get our living needs and this is also where our survival depends. Let us no longer wait for our lives to be endangered, and to have a realization of the importance of nature.

Let’s start with ourselves, in our own yard and in the small community. It will make a difference. Let us act while we can still be saved and enjoy the grace the Lord has given us.

Let us not wait for the revenge of our nature that will surely kill many lives here on earth. I hope it's not too late. I hope it's not !.
