Mothers are the light of the family. They are the happiness of every child, a companion, a healer, an adviser, children's strength and they are everything that we could ask for from God.
Mothers are the source of energy in the family, they lighten and brighten up it's children's day. They bring happiness to the family and make a family complete.
But what if the source of light will slowly fades and only darkness cover the entire house. It's energy slowly deteriorated and it's excitement to wake up in the morning to work has been slowly weaken by an illness?
What would a child do to make it's mother come back to life as it was before?
Only weak, blurred and swolen eye has been left. She can't do anything and can't work comfortably as she was disturbed and felt the pain by his injured eyes. She can't see clearly because his eyes were swolen, turns into blurry and teary eyes.
I could see in her eyes and gesture the pain that she is feeling. I can't help my self to be worried and not to think about it even at work. I can't help my self not to be disturbed and find ways to ease her pain.I know in her eyes I can see her so much troubled and worried. I can feel her stressed about the situations we are facing right now.
As a child I am too worried about her, many thoughts running from the tip of my head. What if she will be blind, what will happen to us, to my young siblings. I could not bear if there's something happen to her.
She was everything to us, she is the only one who supports and help us in times of our troubles and need. Even if I had already my own family, she still there besides me and help me in terms of upbringing my children. She guides us and never leave us and always there and ready anytime we need her.
So I can't bear to look her suffered from what she is feeling. I decided to book a check up on a clinic to check her up by an opthalmologist. We have so many clinics contacted during that time and it turns out the schedule are not too easy to get.
Doctors are not scheduled that time due to skeletal work set up. My eagerness to find an opthalmologist doctor that time is very definite. So I remember my cousin's wife, she was a nurse at a known hospital at the city.
I messaged her and asked if there were available opthalmologist clinic at the town that day. Luckily, she made a replied and told us that there was an available clinic at the town. So we were so glad, together with my sister and husband without a doubt we drive through the town and booked a slot for check up.
Even if we only had not enough penny for the check up, I know God will make a way to make our penny at hand enough for what we need for check up that time. We never hesitated to go there and just try our luck.
As a long hour of waiting for almost 4hrs at the clinic because we got there about 10:00 am and the doctor's came around 2:00 pm. At last, mom had been checked up and inspected what was wrong with her eyes. I am too feeling at ease and confident that she will get well too soon as she was checked by specialist for the eyes.
As she was done by her checked up, we were again too worried because we only had allocated enough budget for check up for P850.00. We need more P2800.00 for the complete prescription of medicine for her eyes.
As we inspected and count all the penny we had left in our wallet, we thank God that we still had enough to buy the medicine needed for her eyes. We thank God for providing all our needs that time.
So far, right now her eyes slowly recovers and heal. Hopefully it will continue to heal and really heal totally. I always thank God that whatever situations we were on, as long as we ask for help to Him, he will always there to answer.
No matter what situations we are facing, when we have God in our hearts and always seeks Him, He will never fails us.
