Whatsapp account hacking for scamming purposes.

Hello my dear read cash users, hope you are all doing good. Today, I am going to bring to light how some diabolic individuals hack into the WhatsApp account of innocent users for their own scamming purposes.

They tend to use your account to advertise scam websites to your friends and relatives and may end up duping them all in your name. Do not worry at all, as I am going to show you how they operate so that you can all protect yourselves. Without further Ado, let's move straight to business.

What these guys do is that, they contact you telling you that there is an important Whatsapp group you should join. Usually, they have some information about you which I don't know where they acquire it from and might probably know some groups or associations you are involved in and use their name to lure you. You receive a code to then join the group via registration links they give you.

They then ask you for your code. If they succeed in getting it, they quickly find their way into your WhatsApp account and change your number to their preferred number. People in your contact list will be notified that you have changed your number. They then have access to all your contacts and groups, and can send all sort of scam websites to your contacts. They can even extort money from your relatives in your name.

We should kindly find out from people if they have changed their contacts if you have received notifications that they have to make sure it is truly them.
