A Holiday
Work and thought, work and worry constitute the almost continuous chain or cycle of human business. The continuity of this chain or cycle has to be broken now and then to enable one to recover one's freshness and to revive one's spirit. Leisure breaks upon the monotony of existence with a touch of variety.
A holiday provides man with this opportunity. Routine bound works makes individual's life monotonous. His works appear to be boring to him and consequently he cannot concentrate on them. But after spending holidays, he can concentrate on his daily affairs with rejuvenated spirit and fresh mind. For a student, a holiday is all the more important.
On this day he can spend care-free time with his near and dear ones. He can go out on a visit to any interesting place. On a holiday, he finds unique opportunity to enjoy art films, or to visit books fairs, art exhibitions etc. Thus he gets relieved for some hours or some days of the stresses of his studies. These holiday activities not only soothe and refresh students' mind and spirit but also widens his horizon of knowledge.
In fact, but for holidays man's life would have become a machine. We cannot think of our lives without holidays.
