For ICT students

The term is ICT stands for Information communication technology. This term is used for very broad purpose but mainly this term is used for computer technology.

Now we can have a question that what is information communication technology

So let's see the meaning of it by it's words

1st : information.. I think each you already know that what is information any think that increases your knowledge or any knowledge is information

2nd: communication.. now here we need to understand what is communication and how does communication occurs.

• For communication we need any language ( bcz language is source of communication

• Now there are 2 types of language nature language ( English etc) and artificial language ( machines languages) etc.

Well is that clear ? How communication occurs

Now let's come to communicate. In simple words communication is the way of sharing or our ideas with each other means the give and take of ideas is called communication

3rd: technology.. what is technology? It is a very important question. So my allies the in very identification of technology is 1st it should be artificial 2nd it should be electronic.

Means anything which is artificial and electricity consumer it is technology.

Now let's see some example: let's see what is chair ? Is it a technology ? No why bcz it doesn't consume electricity.

Same like that what is washing machine is it a technology? Yes it is bcz it consumes electricity and it's artificial aswell

Now the meaning of ICT is cleared.

Now in simple words a machine/technology which provides us information and can be source/medium of our communication is called ICT

Examples: is washing machines related with ICT? No bcz it doesn't proved information or communication it is technology but not ICT

The technologies such as Mobile, computers and many which gives us information are ICT
