And the eagle was deceived by the praise of men. He was called all the sweet names in the world. He was the personification of greatness. Symbol of strength and grace and he was lost in the euphoria of men's sycophancy. He relaxed. Flew at low altitude thinking he conquered all. While Tiger laid in wait.
The outpouring of praises of eagle was already getting on the nerves of the tiger. Tiger wished he killed eagle in cold blood but tiger has no wings to fly. And eagle is strictly airborne. So the tiger can only wish him death, but one day, the eagle made a mistake and toured the earth, with his chest kissing the ground and tiger seized the opportunity. Stretched his claws and leaped into the space and there eagle screamed!
Lesson!
Do not go to where you're not needed. Do not take people's praises no matter how genuine it is. Most of the praises are the chants warriors need to die in battles. Praise singers will get you death and find another person to continue praising.
