Expectation is the root cause of disappointment. Do your best but don't expect applause. The reason why people are depressed, conquered and downtrodden is because they expect a lot from people.
They want life to be good to them just because they're good people. Life is not fair. Life doesn't care whether you're kind, good or bad. Life will feed you with the meal he feels will make you strong. Be good to people in kind and cash but don't expect anything in return. If you do kindness to people and expect kindness from them, your kindness is not kindness.
It is business. And of course a business-oriented person would be disappointed anytime his venture doesn't yield profit. So value human relationship above money. Do not let money be the reason you end a relationship. There are many reasons why a relationship can be overhauled but money is not one of them.
Nothing will remain the same forever. Everything will change. The ultimate determinant is time. Abundance may turn to lack. Therefore consume less and create more. Knowledge may go obsolete, therefore learn to unlearn and to update your intellectual acumen. For instance we have 8 planets today, contrary to 9 planets we were taught in school. Pluto is not a planet again. It was removed since 2006. You must update!
Nothing will remain the same. Some poor people will leave the poverty strata into affluence while some wealthy folks may nosedive into abject penury and destitution. Survival skill isn't taught in school. Learn from the rise and fall of others. Do not wait to learn by experience. Some experiences are fatal!
You must expect everything as you remain grateful for life! Life as an unsolved equation with known factors is enduring enough to go round everyone's table! Life is ephemeral, little wonder it is said to be unfair.
Time is a catalyst. You can rise up from anything. You can bounce back from your set backs. You can recreate yourself. You can heal from breakdown. You're not stuck. You've choices. For it is an established fact written on the bark of every tree and on the shore of every ocean that nothing will remain the same. Things will change.
