It is true when we do not receive proper reward for our hard work our courage and abilities get down.Reward improve ability to do work with more power and progress.

Reward must follow the hardwork, you do not made mistake, even the bible is in support of it, it says the wages of the labourer is due for him. Anybody who work must eat. right rewards help to boost our energy level we all strive to achieve something and if we are not getting the necessary our mind will surely get tired one day from continous struggle. Rewards are must but, I am a firm believer of hard work and believe that if I put my enough effort into what I do God will never deny my struggle and will surely reward me whatever I wanted in my life and he always does.
Might be you are not getting the reward you deserve, because the person who is supposed to give you reward wants that you should do more hard work..

No doubt these rewards appreciate us and we get to work more harder than before. Definitely Rewards motivates you to be more better next time, to be the best of all, to make a harder come back.Reward can be in financial ,a compliment of appreciation, a smile on other's face etc.
Sometimes reward also does not matter. The thing which matters is what you have learnt from that particular task because learning at times matters the most.
When we work hard, we expect to get reward and appreciation from others. But whenever no one appreciates our work, we are dishearted and our heart does not want to do that work. Appreciating others and giving little little awards inspires and encourages them and they try to give their best.
While thinking of reward, we ought to be a bit broader in perception. You all agree reward has a great many shapes. In addition to be in terms of money, it can be 1. fringe benefits, promotion, recognition of services, goodwill of the beneficiaries, their moral support for us in cases of our troubles, their prays to the Divine Power, etc., etc. I personally have the experience that NO EFFORT GOES REWARDLESS.
The rewards will come directly or indirectly. So, whoever is not getting rewarded should not be angry. We should just hold on and keep doing our best.
