James 5:16-18
16:Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
AMP:Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
17KJV:Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
AMP:Elijah was a human being with a nature such as we have [with feelings, affections, and a constitution like ours]; and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months.
18KJV :And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
AMP:And [then] he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops [as usual].
Hmmmm, do you know Our prayer is so essential, we can't overemphasized it, am sure you have heard it before, this is not the first time you are hearing this but is the truth, your prayer life is extremely important, you can't do without praying.
My sister and brother, you know, i wish the devil is afraid of my beautiful makeup, you know i will paint my face even more so that he can run away, but he's not afraid of that, i wish he is afraid of the sharp suit and the baritone voice, he is not afraid of that.
He's afraid of man or woman who can get on their knees, on their feet and pray, that's the man he is afraid of, that's woman is he is afraid of. So you can't be too focus on other things i.e good things of life and not pray. And Really!!
What's prayer? It's simply communication, i mean would you not want to talk to God? Imagine having a friend, a brother or a sister, wife, husband or children you don't talk to, it will be miserable! , and it's the same thing when we don't pray, when we don't communicate with God, we don't have direction, we don't have revelation, we don't know what to do, we are confused when we don't pray.
But when we pray answers are released, revelations are given, insight are available, so you know what to do and you wouldn't be running for so long without any result or working so hard without result, when you pray, you will know what to do, you knew things ahead when you pray.
So, i urge🙏🙏🙏 you to take out time today and pray!!!!
