I escaped, and have the monkey in check. My freedom did not come easy, and I got some rope burns in the process. He is crafty, and I apologize to all that he tried to extort bananas and cash for my release. I took away his laptop privileges, and changed my passwords. despite my best efforts, he did get into the liquor cabinet, and boxes of bananas are arriving constantly (thank you all for the banana ransom and wishes for my safe return to freedom). We are friends again, but I will be sleeping with one eye open for a while. I do suspect he is hoarding crypto, but can't find his wallet. I will be making a lot of banana bread in the next few days. #AdventuresOfMonkey
