Hello dear noisers, A sad day today for all Greeks, huge fires all around Greece since yesterday, some from two days ago and many of them still burning everything... :( How I wish we never see a fire in the whole world again! :(

That's very sad news, I think recently it was with turkey, now Greece. Hope this one will be shorty controlled
Let's hope so :( Before Turkey we had again fires in other places, then Turkey, now here again...so sad for every place on earth! :(
it´s a sad thing for all the people who lost their houses, but normally fire is a process of revitalize nature it is something extremely natural (if not man made) and in some countries they burn down the fields after the harvest for preparing the soil for the next years harvest. So everything has two sides a good one and a bad one, hope you and your family are safe in your place ;)
Me and my family are safe, but unfortunately the fires are from man made as you said. That's the sad part... either they want to built something, to sell land, to use the area etc. Since my post, there were in other 2 places in Greece fires :(
it´s so silly, I´m working in the property business but wouldn´t get in mind to start a fire to have after that a building plot , that´s the wrong way, there are many others ;)

Yes, but it's not everything about "me" :( Forests disappear every year, houses burning, animals also, I just can't stand it! The only positive 'till now, is that no human soul is lost - I pray it will continue like this!

That's awful! I wasn't aware of fires being a problem in your part of the world. Fires are a BIG DEAL in the western part of the USA, but I lived in the eastern part, where big fires aren't a problem.
I remember fires in Greece since I was a child :( Unfortunately, every year the same s@it.. :(
Bummer. Well, now we can add Covid to the list of persistent problems.
