I enjoyed reading your article, even if the subject is somewhat sad. Few people can say that they do what they want. On the other hand, some do only what they want without taking into account those around them and others do not do it just because they take into account those around them. These are the extremes, a middle ground would be desirable.

I think we need to find a livable balance between what we want, and what we have to do. Not as easy as it sounds, and this balance may change over time.

  I know what you mean, I am talking though for people who cannot balance inside them both of them, so they have to choose. Everything in life needs balance, but sometimes you have to choose one or the other.
