Be careful. I lost $60.00 trying to send money from read.cash to my Coinbase account. When I clicked on "receive" in Coinbase, it gave me an address to send the money to. When I put that address into read.cash to send the money it said it was not a proper address and sent me to cashaddr.org and gave me a "conversion" address. I sent it to that address but the money never made it to my Coinbase account. The money is gone. I have no idea where it went. Either read.cash is up to no good or Coinbase is, or something just went wrong. Not good and I am not happy about it.

That was sad. There's something wrong on that for sure. Is that your first to experience that?

  Yes. I have used this twice and the first time it went through. This time the money disappeared.

Yeah, it sucks when that happens. One of the many disadvantages to using crypto. (Notice how the disadvantages seem to be prominent at the moment?) I lost $100 trying to send some XLM. I'm not sure exactly what I did, but I think I had a brain fart and sent them to a Tezos address, XTZ. The money is gone now. Combine crap like this with all the crooks and poopheads using DeFi to steal money from us, (in the case of LUNA/UST, LOTS of money), and crypto isn't looking all that great at the moment.

    Ain't that the truth! I'm scaling back my "investments" in crypto, and focusing more on using it as a way to move money around. (From the USA to the Philippines, in my case.) Some folks would be happy with this, saying I am using crypto for what it is truly designed for.
