No power this morning. It went off last night around 1am and probably won't be on for another hour. At least my laptop was fully charged and I am able to HotSpot off my phone. But the real issue is my coffee. Probably going to make a steeping bag, fill a pot, and bring it to a boil on the side burner of my grill. Whatever works. I've got to have my coffee.

Darn Dude! If your power starts going off, you may as well move to the Philippines. Now understand that electricity is actually MORE EXPENSIVE here than back in the USA because ......... well, reasons, that's why! If your running water shuts off every now and then, then you can say you've had the complete Philippines experience!

Sure enough, but please do NOT plant coconut trees around your house. I don't care what the folks around here say, those things are dangerous. Do you want to have to wear a hard hat anytime you go into your yard? Let's put this into perspective. The same people who are saying coconut trees are safe are the exact same folks who ride three or four people to a motorcycle, of which two are often kids under the age of four. No helmets are worn, of course. Yee haw!! What could possibly go wrong?

The deadly duo ... no electricity, no water! Only in the Philippines!
You know, there are some folks here on noise.cash who still have to use what I call "heavy water" in their house? They don't have running water, so they have to haul it inside themselves. I assume they have electricity, else how do they charge their smartphones, but maybe they don't have that either? If I had a lot of money, I'd try to make sure every family in the Philippines had electricity and running water.
I'm not surprised. There are still locations here in the Philippines with no access to clean and safe running water. That is admirable of you.
