Kurt Vile is one of those folksy type rock musicians that for most is a bit of an acquired taste. But if one focuses more on the lyrics and melodies of most of his music, there is a vibe there that is undeniable, genuine and raw, and quite interesting to listen to. This version of his song "Wheelhouse," done live for a radio station is one of my favorites, and besides, the drummer is a bit cute. https://youtu.be/nAcHh8MpQ5c

When you wrote, "acquired taste", I was expecting some sort of Bob Dylan type rasping, but this guy isn't awful, just different. Seems that many of the comments in YouTube are about the drummer, as I'm sure all the male viewers noticed her.
