I finally did it. I wrote my first piece on read.cash. Nothing to write home about. I have not written longer pieces in a while so I think I am a bit rusty. But nonetheless, I decided to start a series which I will slowly add to. I decided not to commit myself to anything like a weekly update or anything like that. I do not like deadlines. So, I will write the parts as I can, which will actually probably be quicker than one might expect—I write fast. Either way, if anyone cares to check it out, here it is. I am calling it "The Path to Financial Independence: An Odyssey." I suppose it is my story of how I came to view money and investment the way I do, and perhaps even how I eventually made some of my money. I hope it is at least somewhat entertaining. https://read.cash/@Porwest/the-path-to-financial-independence-an-odyssey-pt-1-c4fe58cb

That is one big step already writing an article.. congrats! Financial freedom can be attained thru hard work, smart work, investment, re-investment, creating business.. and focus on the goal..
Profoundly said. Yep. These are the key factors that go into wealth creation. No way around any of these time honored principles.
Yep, it's not enough to work hard. You also have to work smart. I like your Cluck Bucks, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Cluck. But I think you missed a huge opportunity in life. You say, "If I wanted more Cluck Bucks, or some variation thereof, all I needed to do was make my own." Darn Dude, if you aren't an ideal high level employee of the Fed, then I don't know who is!
lol. I make way more money than those Fed employees do, and most of my wealth was created through investment. Working is an absolute necessity of course, and not at all something to discouraged. But I do enjoy the money my money makes as well, and never could have gotten it just earning a paycheck.
Oh yeah, the point of working is to cover your basic living expenses, and get a little extra to start investing. Shameless self-promotion, but I wrote a post a while ago about the investing philosophy of J L Collins: https://noise.cash/post/1g8nq6zw . I like his approach because nearly everyone can do it, and if you stick to it, you'll be wealthy. I was well on my way to being a millionaire, then I got married and had kids. But not everything is about accumulating money.
Wives and kids can drain accounts for sure. I am just good at hiding money, I suppose. lol. I will check out your post.
i had those dreams too, i once sold some self made sand balls to my enemy so he can fight me with them. Lol investing in new teeth would be exciting, then watching them falling and get your earnings.
Definitely gonna read that after i wake up. 🙃
Thank you. Hopefully the series will at least be just tiny bit interesting to people. Only time will tell I suppose.
