It never ceases to amaze me how easily some people are willing to throw good food away. Not in my house, as I like to say. My wife's work bought lunch and they were going to throw away this leftover salad and Spanish rice. No way. My wife knows better. She brought it home. Believe me, without a doubt, we will make good use of all of this, starting with a chicken salad for supper tonight. I already incorporated some of the rice into some lunches and some of it will be made into a casserole. Nothing goes to waste, especially when it is free.

That's is true. Don't waste foods as others haven't food like that. It's practical to not throw aways the left over.
wow yummy
This time I disagree with you. I can't eat leftovers. I don't even keep food in the fridge for more than a day.
One thing I find is true with many leftovers is that things actually get better 2nd and 3rd day because all the flavors have been able to marinate. Soup is good for this, as well as casseroles and pasta dishes. And nothing like cold steak, fried chicken, ham, bratwurst, pizza and other stuff next day. Yummy.
Yes, for the second day it's okay, but more than that I can't eat it, and I'm a person who doesn't like food
Don’t like seeing good food being thrown out.
Yeah. Same. It is something that irks me to no end.
