Target is talking about offering a minimum starting wage of up to $24 an hour in their most competetive markets. Their current starting wage is already $15 an hour. I have no problem with this so long as they can justify it with their bottom line. Hell, this might be the place to semi-retire when I decide to do it.

That was a great salary rate, here un our province the minimun rate was about $8 I think. But it's still in your will and decision if you do it.
Let them go to hell, the important thing is you don't get angry and don't bother yourself, we are used to hearing your laugh out loud my friend
But $24 an hour is a phenomenal wage for a retail job.
Wow $24 an hour had some good money to work at target. So go there and work how many hours a week would have you considered semi retired? : )
I would say about 20-30.
That's what I was thinking I'm 13 days away from being 62 I would love to take my Social Security early but I don’t know if I can live on the meager money and live the way I live now with what I would get plus what’s going on in the world with everything rising and prices.
One thing I have always made it a point to do is to save and invest as though Social Security does not exist, so that when I take (and I will definitely take it early) it will be gravy.
I have also done that and I keep doing so.
That $15 is really good
For that kind of work it most certainly is.
