Chicken Adobo Ingredients

3 tablespoons canola oil, for sauteeing

1 clove garlic, crushed

1/2 tablespoon peppercorns, cracked

1 whole chicken, cut into pieces

1/2 cup vinegar

1/4 cup soy sauce

water, to cover meat

How to cook Chicken Adobo

In a medium-sized pot with preheated oil, saute garlic and black peppercorns until brown.

Add the chicken pieces and sear until the chicken skin is browned.

Pour in the vinegar, soy sauce, and water. Simmer until oil is expressed from the chicken. Serve warm.
