Sweatcoin, Earn Crypto by Being Active!
I'm back with yet another new app you can earn crypto from....okay it's not new, it's been around for a while. However the crypto aspect of this app is being integrated this summer. This is new and this is what interests me and probably you, since you are hear reading it.
How does it work?
It's really simple, as you walk or run around the proprietary system detects each step and records in on a counter within the app. Currently at the time of this recording 1000 steps = 1 Sweatcoin. When Sweatcoin does the crypto launch it will mint 1 SWEAT for each Sweatcoin you have. It is my understanding that during this 1 time mint event you also keep your Sweatcoin which has uses inside the app.(We will go over that later.) This is the best time to earn Sweatcoin as they intend to reduce the amount earned per step in the future after the minting event.

What can I do with it?
While earning crypto is great if it has no use or mints infinitely it becomes essentially useless and valueless.
First lets talk about what Sweatcoin can be used for on the app. Sweatcoin offers a steady flow of promotions. Using Sweatcoin can earn you great deals on these. There are even regular promotions that you can purchase outright with sweatcoin. These are usually gift cards and get snapped up very quickly. Most of these are health related and may not be for everybody. Nice to have them available however.
You can also donate your Sweatcoins to various charity's and causes for good. This can be as little as 1 or all of your Sweatcoins. There are regular charities and causes for good that roll through the app. Pretty cool to have something like this. The world always needs more of this.
Want to use your Sweeatcoin in an in app live online auction for various goods? You can do that too! Use your Sweatcoin to Bid on all sorts of things, these happen regularly. However bids can be fairly high so don't expect to participate right away.
Lastly the Crypto aspect. As stated above we can mint our Sweatcoin at a rate of 1:1 during the mint event this summer. We can keep our current Sweatcoin and also be rewarded with the SWEAT token. After this event there will be an exchange for Sweatcoin to SWEAT Instead of keeping both.
The Crypto SWEAT will have a multitude of uses. The typical crypto uses will be available. Like staking, liquidity pools, governance. It will also open up the possibility to integrate with NFTs. You can potentially sell your data as well. (Devs state they have never sold your data and never will. However potentially you can opt in yourself to sell data for SWEAT in the future.) and much more things,

More ways to earn Sweatcoin?
There are a few ways to earn Sweatcoin beyond being active. You can refer others and earn 5 Sweatcoin each, there are daily mini goals along the way to 1000 steps once accomplished you get 3 draws to win a random amount of Sweatcoin. Usually the wins are fractions of a Sweatcoin. The x2 multiplier last for 20 minutes and rewards you with double yours steps. Perfect for that daily walk or an intense run.
Final Thoughts
This app is pretty cool and I tested it, it works well with the coin app too. Maybe it can work with other movement apps too. It's free, easy to use and I'm all for earning Crypto free and passively while doing something I already do...WALK.
Will it make you rich, probably not but having some value is better than 0. Even if you don't care for the Crypto aspect you can opt out and still enjoy the app with the Sweatcoin earnings and enjoy the benefits of the in app functions. You can also do good and give all your Sweatcoins away for various charities. This alone is is a good reason and we all know there is so much in the world that needs a step up.
