Opinion - Opinyon -English/Tagalog (Lesson) English: **Authors** use facts and **opinions** to persuade you to think or do something.The author states an idea,and then gives details to convince you to agree.Details may be fatcs,dates,statistics or words that may affect your feelings.Only you can decide if the evidence is strong enough to convince you.Commercials and print ads are familiars forms of persuasive writing. **These are the kinds of Opinions**: **Bandwagon** - makes you think everyone does it, so you should too. ***Example*** - Tiktok shorts are the hottest to wear now,don't be left out,get yours today. **Expert Opinion** - quoted someone whos an expert in the field. ***Example*** - I hike up a lot of hot volcanoe"says Dr.Volcanoe.So I'm glad i also had these froosty foot. **Glittering Generalities -** appeal to emotions,like patriotism,success,good family ***Example*** - Vote this person,this candidate ensure our nation towards safety and development. **Name Calling** - uses rude or mocking words,language and negative thoughts ***Example*** - Your such a loser, your a heart clogging, a fool bastard, your like a burger filled with sesame on your face **Personal Experience** - explains how the author cames from his beliefs ***Example*** - I have been to Africa and seen so many people who needs help **Testimonials** - quotes from a famous supports the idea ***Example*** - We must all do what we can do, once a rich leader said and donates all his belongings, how you can help? The more aware you become of persuasive techniques,the better you can evaluate the truth if what you read.And the better you can "see through" things you can hear or see in real-life situations. *So what's your opinion on the things around you?* Tagalog: Ang **Author/Manunulat** ay gumagamit ng mga katotohanan at opinyon upang makumbinse ka na mag-isip at gumawa ng hakbang.Pagbibigay ng ideya at detalye upang ikaw ay lalong makumbinse.Ang mga detalye ay maaring totoo, sa petsa,kalagayan o salita na makakaapekto sa iyo.Ngunit ikaw lang ang makakapag desisyon kung makukumbinse ka o hindi.Patalastas at mga Print Ads ang mga pamilyar na pangungumbinse sa pagsusulat. Mga uri ng Opinyon: **Bandwagon**(Sumasakay lang sa karamihan) - pinag iisip ang kausap o karamihan na nagawa mo rin ito, o nakikiuso ,nakikisakay, ***Halimbawa*** - Tiktok short ang uso ngayon,meron nako nyan, kaya ikaw din bumili kana.! uso yan,marami na ako nyan. **Opinyon ng Eksperto -** mga salita o pahayag mula sa eksperto ***Halimbawa*** - Umakyat nako sa maraming bulkan'sabi ni Dr.Volcanoe, kaya nakakatuwa na meron din akong bitak bitak na paa kagaya nya,totoo pala. **Pamumuri** - kinukuha ang loob ng kausap,katulad ng pamumuri sa ugali bayan,pagtatagumpay,at pamilya. ***Halimbawa*** - Iboto mo itong tao na to, pauunlarin nya ang bansa at naniniguro ng kaligtasan sa atin. **Panlalait o Pagtawag ng di Tama** - pag-gamit ng mga salita na masakit sa kapwa,pambabastos, pagkukumpara sa masamang bagay,mga negatibong pag-iisip(bashers haha) ***Halimbawa*** - Ang panget mo, mukha kang tuhod, tigyawat na tinubuan ng mukha, ugaling skwater ka. **Personal na naranasan** - pahayag sa paniniwala o naranasan sa buhay ***Halimbawa*** - Nagpunta ako sa Africa,grabe dami palang nagugutom at naghihirap dun na kelangan ng tulong. **Testimonya** - gumagamit ng salita na sikat para makapanghikayat o mapaniwala ang iba ***Halimbawa*** - "Kaya natin to,magagawa natin lahat,"yan ang sabi ng sikat na lider na nagbigay ng lahat ng ari arian,Ikaw anu ang matutulong mo? Ngunit ang pagiging mulat sa pag impluwensya at panghihikayat ng Author ay matutunan mong malaman ang mga pahayag o katotohanan nito.At pinaka importante sa **opinyon** ay yung nakita mo o narinig mo talaga ang sitwasyon o pangyayari ng personal. I'm Overwhelmed (Personal) "A good morning everyone, hope you sleep well last night, with full of peacefulness. In past few weeks this month, my everyday routine was keep on repeating and nothing's unchanged.Keeping me busy with other things, social media and other stuff.That I dont get a profit and benefit. Until that time,I saw a post in my feed about earning BCH for free.I message him and I got a response, he guide me on how to be a part of ReadCash and how to use the platform.@Xavier Since I was started here ,I'm a little bit confused about the platform, in how to interacts other user,how to write and publish articles,how to earn and be converted to money or BCH.But i got it soon and also by the guidance of other user as well. Dreams (Personal) Have you ever **dream**? Your answer is definitely " **Yes**." And what's the meaning of my dream?,maybe your asking it right now. A **dream** is a **story**,a sleeper watches it takes part in.It's filled with images,sound,emotions and scenes.On waking, a sleeper may be remember only what happened right before waking up.No one can recall every dream that exactly what happens, but everyone dreams even though some people may tell you they don't. They really do dream,thousands of dream.They just dont remember sometimes what or any of their dreams. Events in dreams are imaginary,but they're related to real experience in the sleeper's life.Like, if you spent a day in a beach,you might dream if the ocean or sea on that night. Sometimes dreams are **realistic**, and also **symbolic**.For example, your running and running as fast as you can in your dreams or stumbles down.The dream was symbolize for being busy with school,sports,parties and family, that you feels no control in your life.And stumbles to reminds you to rest and stop for a while. Be an Author (Personal) "Sometimes an **Author** has more than one purpose, such as wanting to inform readers but be entertaining at the same time. An Author sets a purpose for writing, and then chooses words to express ideas. The words set a tone that just like someones tone of voice,will convey a feeling of suspense,excitement,happiness,sadness,anger,mystery,humor or annoyance.Choosing that right words can make a selection funny,sad, creepy,serious,mysterious,scary or fanciful. Different parts of a selection may convey different feelings.But there should be one clear tone for the whole selection. An author's style is his or her distinctive way of connecting ideas.It may not be easy to recognize author's style until you read a few of their selections.Then you begin to spot the length and difficulty of the sentences they use and their choices of descriptive words. Their writing may be informal or formal,friendly or bitter,fanciful or scientific,comical or dramatic,playful or serious. The author's tone and style create an overall mood,the feeling you get when you read the selection.For example,see how the author's style create mysterious,frightening in some scenarios. So it's crucial to use electricity wisely.You can help.Look for these and others places where electricity's being wasted. **Then,stop wasting it.!** Close the Refrigerator door quickly, when you are getting something in you refrigerator,make it fast. Let your hair dry naturally, if doesn't needed,dont use some hair dryer to dry your hair when your not on a rush. Run a diswasher or washing machine only when full, make it more productive. Turn off the lights when not in use, dont use too much light when it was already daylight and bright. Unplug appliances that have clocks when not in use,they continue to draw energy to display time,even when switched off. Our Education (Opinion) **"Education** is the obsession of the Filipino.A parent would willingly sacrifice what he/she has,just to send his child to school. In the rural areas, the diploma, whether it is an elementary or high school certificate or a college diploma,is displayed prominently in the *sala* as source of pride and a measure of singular accomplishment,a status symbol of sort. Before the extension of elementary education to the *barrios* and the organization of *barangay* high schools in these areas, elementary and high school education can be had only in towns,the barrio school offering only primary education. Furthermore, since secondary education was offered only by the private schools and was pretty expensive,the average Filipino parent in the barrios had really to get outbof their way in terms of finances to foot the high school education of their son or daughter. In spite of the expense,however they would stop at nothing just to be able to send their child to school. But the sacrifice was not only on the part of the parents.The son or daughter too had to make new,sometimes difficult adjustments of living away from home.If the parents could afford it, the child stayed in a boarding house where his parents paid the room and board. If the family's financial resources were meager,then he stayed in the house of a relative,a friend of the family or friend of their parents. He brought his ration of rice for a week's consumption and depended on his benefactor for viands.In return for free lodging and viands he helped in the households chores and did errands for the family during his off class hours. Ricefields (Short story) "When my Uncle and Auntie invited me to spend a weekend with them in their farm,I was beside myself with joy and excitement.I had never been to a farm, and all I knew about it was what I had read or what had been told to me.At last I was to experience farm life. We left the City at one in the afternoon and arrived at their farm at about six, just slowly setting sun was going down through the tall,huge stacks of golden rice staws piled in a row. I ran to one of the haystacks and leaned comfortably against it.I felt its soft body, and breathed in its muskiness,unmindful of the itchy sensation slowly spreading all over my body. I looked around me,fascinated by the view.The farmers were happily wending their way home, the carabaos glistening with mud were being led to the coral, the chickens were beginning to roost on their favorite branches, and the children were finishing their games. As I sat there, I watched great ball of fire slowly recede from horizon.My whole being was engulfed by the beautiful scene.No wonder how tourists and painters rave over our beautiful sunsets. I gazed at the indescribable scene and wondered if any painter had captured on canvas that glorious blend of colors and artistic display of God's omnipotence. After the sun had set, I turned my footsteps to my Uncle's home with the realization that it is rustic places like this that one feels what true peace and tranquility of the soul means.
