As I strolled up, I could see she was retaliating tears. A well of feeling ascending subsequent to hearing a message of encouragement. "I can't recall the last time I felt really encouraged—thank you," she said. She was in good company—not today or quickly.
Ralph Waldo Emerson once stated, "Our main need in life is to discover somebody who will cause us to do what we can." Life is inhaled into the "can" we can do by the opportune individual, with the correct word, at the correct second, conveying a basic truth in an adoring and charitable manner.
Encouragement revives our spirits.
Life has a method of getting us to sink into what I like to call the "I am" zone (this is who and what I am). A spot where day by day schedule numbs us of our need to give and get encouragement. Subsequent to talking on Sunday, I got an email that summarizes this well.
"Jim - I left the 11:00 help with a few people at the forefront of my thoughts, and a feeling that I have not done what's needed (or now and again, anything) to be an encourager to them. Much obliged to you for a very provocative lesson!
Encouragement can change the course and direction of our lives.
Everybody can be an extraordinary encourager by creating and supporting five qualities.
