Role of a king

The king should be wise, just, bold, sympathetic and God fearing. He must be strong morally and be a man of principle. His character should be exemplary so that his subjects follow him. He should be kind and sympathetic towards his nation. He should not inflict cruelty and injustice on them. He must take every step for the welfare of his people and county. He must deal out justice to everyone without any discrimination. He must be watchful about what is going on in the country. He should not be selfish, mean and corrupt.
