Delivery girl- a short film

Yesterday while scrolling Facebook I noticed that one of my friends shared a short video clip. This video clip was from a short film named "Delivery Girl". The film is about gender equality. It shows us two different kinda situations of two women.

The film starts with a quarrel between husband and wife, as the husband quit his job. The wife gets angry of thinking how they will manage their expenditure, and she thinks that it is a stupid decision of quitting job over a dream of becoming a good painter. The husband aslo get furious and tired of explaining his wife about his dream and seeking support from her.

On the other hand, we notice a delivery girl come to their home with food ordered by them. This delivery girl share her story with that wife, that she works as a delivery girl but her husband does not work now, once her husband used to work as a driver which was very tiresome job and her husband has a dream of working in a office with computer and so he is learning how to operate computer. And the girl is helping her husband by managing the expenditure on her own and her husband does the household works. And this story inspire that wife who was mad with her husband. She then become calm and understand his point of view.

We actually always keep talking about gender equality but we hardly can prove it. We always let the boys handle the finance of the house and we the women contribute in less expenditures. We even after being financially established depend on them regarding the house managing. So, I think we should not only talk about the equality but also we should prove it, we should let the boys choose their future according to their dream, their choice and also we should choose our future according to our dream.
