Guys, I'm deep in middle age and the cogs are starting to come off the wheels a little so I'm decided to try and give up cigarettes. Has anyone here succeeded in giving up smoking cigarettes and how did you manage? Any advice will be gratefully received.👍

Those are great news my friend! 😁 Never is too late to leave bad habits like smoking 💪 The best way to giving up btw is buying a pack of cigarettes, took them out of the package, and the part where you put your mouth, that part you will introduce it in dog's poop 💩😅 literally. And you will return it all to the package and leave then near to you. 😁 Everytime you want to smoke, you will remember the dog's poop 😂😂 then, if you feel frustrated, try to take a walk or focus on something else to avoid the anxiety for no smoking. 💪
I did quit at the age of 24 and found the best way is just to decide you will do it, make your mind up and stop completely. The first 4 weeks are the hardest, get past that and it gets much easier. I was like 20 per day B&H and stopped when they were £3.60 a pack. Now a pack of B&H gold is £14! I have saved quite a bit.. Put the money you would spend aside, then treat yourself to something nice!
Not me but my brother. He gave up smoking after he got hospitalised and stayed in ICU for more than a week. Currently he indulge himself into physical activities such as cycling and basketball. He keep himself busy. I hope you can do it for your love ones.
