Whispers from the Shadow

Silent.

Sneaky.

Very patient.

Sharp attention.

Stealth and seemingly normal.

Smell the air and nothing is different.

Look around and everything is "okay".

Scratch that, everything is grand and "happy".

We love that. Getting drowned in the "happy".

We feel strong .

We are masters of our fate.

We pick the good options and then celebrate a few.

We come home with a sigh of relief. One day down and you are safe in the comfort of your own home.

Guards down.

Relax time.

Netflix on. Nice story line. Interesting scripts. Provoking sequences. A little unnecessary scene here and there ..

Just a few entertainment...Tolerable.

Just a few... that lingers even after the show.

Curiosity is brewed.

Google some.

and then the shadows of curiosity whispers. A tickle in the back of your head.

Unaware, then you are already neck-deep.

Who's to know right?

The shadows? The walls?

The shadows still whisper and argues and counter argues your conscious thoughts. A silent, friendly debate you can turn away from. But no. You indulge in the debate and slowly in the exchange, the opposing words from you seems lost and you are now chanting the same mantra the shadows started whispering the moment you entered your sanctuary.

It is ok.

It is just you.

It is normal.

You deserve entertainment.

Just a few.

Just a human after all.
