You and your accounts (e.g facebook, google, email, instagram, gaming accounts, bank informations) are one of your most precious possessions into living this modern day era, We Always try securing them because it keeps our privacy, online integrity, identity, and sometimes finances. Due to unfortunate circumstances, Like everyone in this world. time will come, and we'll vanish due to an inevitable event known as death, especially right now that we face COVID-19 that somehow is a big threat of our lives.
I will be sharing you, some things you may do consider in case of you still want your family/loved ones to access your online accounts in case of an unexpected death.
Step 1: Prepare for a Storage. Either a Flash drive, A Cloud storage or even a physical fortfolio. To keep in these sensitive data/information.
Step 2: Have a copy of your most important useful and sensitive document that depends on what storage you choose in step 1. Also, List down your important accounts information in a file (Username, Password, Pin etc) along with it and make an Authorization Letter that will legalize their right for your privacy.
Step 3: Compile it and encrypt (add a encryption password if possible) if your using Cloud Storage/Flash Drive to protect your files to be accessed by the third party. If you make physical compilation of the files you should know your thing how to keep it.
Step 4: get a link/URL(if your using cloud storage) of your files and keep it to somewhere that usually always with you. Like a Diary, Wallet or Cellphone.
Sidenote: If your cellphone has a security lock. try to paste the link in your Medical ID notes on(Iphone/Android) it wasnt an obvious way to keep your memento there.
Step 5: Think of a way that someone you loved or trusted will eventually find them if the time comes.
