Pedro during his last game for Chelsea against Arsenal suffered a shoulder dislocation injury in the recent game against Arsenal. The Spaniard had to be stretchered off the pitch in the Blues’ FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal over the weekend. The match at the Wembley Stadium was Pedro’s final appearance as a Chelsea FC player.
Pedro’s injury comes amid the Spaniard having agreed upon a move to the Italian side AS Roma. The 33-year old attacker’s current deal with the Blues expires following the end of the current season. The former FC Barcelona man had signed terms with AS Roma and was set to move to the Serie A club ahead of next season.
The Spaniard took to his instagram handle to say that:"The surgery went well, I will be back soon it's a pity we didn't win the FA Cup. Thank you for your support 💪 👍🔵 Too bad not to win the FA Cup. Thank you all for your messages of encouragement. "
However, it is still unclear whether Pedro will be a part of the Chelsea FC squad to face Bayern Munich this week in the Champions League.
I pray for you
