In the history of philosphy, there was a group of thinkers who just prioritized there own thoughts and their selves. They They were called stoics. They were so grasped in love of their own souls and nature that they totally ignored the comments of the other persons. The following story will illustrate my idea:
Once Alexander the Great went to Diogenes-founder of Stoics School. Alexander ( to Diogenes) : " Tell me anything, I will do for you."
Diogenes: (pointing toward the sun, replied): " Don't block sunlight and move aside."
In our view, Diogenes was a foolish person. But in history several nominated people followed him and they were inspired by him. Why?
Because: He prioritized his own thoughts and life style. This is also today's most of our problem. We are being busy in pleasuring others and forgetting about our own selves.
Similarly,we should focus on our own rules and thoughts. We should try to live our lives independedtly. So, our life style may not effected by any other.
In short, we should not compromise on our own priorities.
